At Saeby Fish Canners Ltd. , the mackerels are filleted manually and then placed in blank or lithographed cans of various sizes with ring-pull tops and internal coating. The fish is then covered with sauces and oils with a range of flavours.
The range comprises:
- Mackerel in 125 gram club aluminium cans, which can be covered with one of 14 different sauces and oils, flavoured with tomato, mustard, curry, chilli or pure olive oil, rapeseed oil or sunflower oil.
- Whole fillets of mackerel in 125 gram round aluminium cans with tomato sauce.
